Salemanship...

I got a call from Suzuki dealership on Thursday that my motorcycle has arrived. I felt the salesman was so rude. The way he was talking to me was like as if he is doing me a favor by selling me the motorcycle. I have already paid half of the amount and the rest half was supposed to be paid after the motorcycle arrives. I informed them on Wednesday that I will be coming to pay on the 31st or 1st. The way he was talking to me was like you either take it or we have other customers who are willing to buy it. How unprofessional is that? Its not that this is the first place I have noticed this!! I have noticed this in a lot of big companies here in Kuwait.

The other day I recall I visited my shop in embarkiya and a lady came in and asked me are you the owner of this place. I replied back politely saying yes. She said your salesman is really rude. He has no manners how to treat customers. I felt so bad that I really told off the guy that next time I shouldn't be listening to any complains.

I believe a customer is a customer no matter how rude, good or bad they are we should always deal them in a very professional way. I feel there should be more communication and customer service training given to employees.

I've been in that situation, but what to do? I usually ignore and walk away or end the phone call briskly.

I believe that a customer is a value for any company that gets her money from people, no matter what I don’t like to be treated as trash just because they think am one of their million of customers they have!!!!! I not only recommend training for the customer service people but a strict policy to follow and supervise, I feel special when I get treated like am the only customer they have .. which makes me go back even if I don’t need anything .. So you Sales People Stop the Attitude and get over your selves and BR PORFESSIONALS ..

I meant the one on the other side of the phone when you picked it up and you should have heard this "Dear Mr. AMU your motorbike has arrived and it's our pleasure to have served you, please visit us and we will be ready for you with lot's of extra Smiles, extra giveaways " won’t that be out of this world scenario !

lol man you reminded me when i was shopping around for my car.
i went to the honda dealership and i asked about a car on a sunday, I called them on Wednesday, and I went to the place on thursday.

I got a different price for all 3 times, inside the same week!!

but workwise, i deal with patients or "clients" ... and holy crap have i heard lies... you know you study all this stuff about how to deal with the clients in a top professional manner, but seriously there are people out there that are just trash its unbelievable!

Not all salesmen are like this; there are nice salesmen who are always smiling and make you want to buy things ;p

Not anyone can be a salesman; they really need to have good people skills!

Dude you should not hust blog about it, you should go down and talk to the showroom manager, this is ridiculous behaviour and totally unacceptable by any standards.

hellraiser: I wanted to do that but let me get my motorcycle first. Suzuki is giving me the Hayabusa without any warranty and I don't want to risk anything happening to it right now. What do you say?

For them we are just a bunch of low life bikers, and they employ the cheapest labour in the world without bothering giving them any customer service training...why should they ..they have no competition and you have to buy from them.

So best thing to do is go there and flash ur money in their faces and act like a rich dude then they will respect you.

Last year i was getting an R1 but left the Yamaha showroom to TriStar for the same reason.
yea I heard about how some salesmen treat people bs ma mrat 3lay chthy @@ oh u have shop, whats ur shop?

MAKO SERVICE QUALITY IN THE GCC
I understand completely! I believe that Customer Service is imperative in business (we Americans have a great CS reputation) and even here in Oman it needs to be taught and trained. Insha'allah in time!
