Last year I hoping that this year which is about to finish in the next few hours will lead me to a better year. Was I wrong? Well yES and No!!! I should just say it was one hell of a eventful year. Too many events that are unforgettable.
Lets hope the coming year brings all the best for all of us.
Just when I thought that I wont be having KDD's chocolate milk for may be another few months because of the shortage. I was cleaning my kitchen and found under the boxes of juices a complete packed box of chocolate milk. I have decided to have them slowly that's to keep the craving and hopefully by then the KDD factory will be up and running with their production.
And people always say me that you are a business man and you always buy things in dozens. Well now you know the reason when there is a shortage in the market I will always have something in my store ;p
What a fun filled 3 days weekend. I wish I had more of it. Did it have to end in 3 days??
I went to Abdally with my sisters. It was one long drive but was filled with fun. The new extension of 6th ring road all the way to Bubyaan is a nice drive too and no cameras ;p so speed like there is police behind you..
and now I am back to work and tired;/ o maly 5lg I even touch any piece of paper except listening to some songs and right now my stomach is making sounds and asking me to feed him ;p
Its just been crazy for a while now with too many things happening and few new decisions and a slight different turn in life. I am around most of the blogs but I guess I have lost my writing skills. I have nothing to write now but will be back soon.
I am back, the trip was really nice. I visited three different cities and each one is different from the other. It was all good except the airline I traveled on.
I traveled on PIA and I have to say its one of the worse airlines of the world. I wish I knew before I booked. I have never been scared while sitting in a plane as much as I was while traveling with them. The carpet is pealing off, its dirty and just horrible. I guess its the only airline in the world that announces not to throw water on the floor as it might effect the electric cables. Is that a way to scare the passengers? I have never heard such announcement before on any other airlines. The air hostess there are maybe as old as my grand fathers age. It was just one horrible experience.
Work has been really busy lately and I haven't been productive. Lods of things on my mind and traveling every now and then has just not kept me up as good as I should be. I am traveling again tomorrow for 9 days to Pakistan. Sounds scary right with the situation there at present? I am scared too of traveling there but have to go for a business trip.
Once I am back I need to sit on my chair and put some attention back to my work and business. I need to get my acts back. I should repeat all this to my self at least 10 times a day so I can act on them!
This is for one of the craziest football fan I have ever met...
According to them ...
'From the banks of the river Irwell to the shores of Sicily, we will fight, fight, fight for united 'till we win the Football league..to hell with Liverpool! To hell with man city! We will fight, fight, fight for united 'til we win the football league!'
I have a very deep sleep habit on normal days. When I say normal days I mean when I am not stressed. I usually sleep for 6 - 8 hours on such days which is very good according to my sleeping standards which is not more than 5 - 6 hours on other days.
I usually keep my phone next to me when I sleep. On normal days I will attend calls at night and forget the next day who I spoke to and what we spoke about unless I go back and check my received calls.
Last night similar incident happened which I just recalled I spoke to a friend who called me from London. I spoke for like few minutes and that's all I recall. I completely don't recall what we talked about during that time. Its really embarrassing that I dont recall our conversation. I have been thinking since morning should I call back and say that I am sorry can you tell me what we spoke last night. Weird, ha?
Is it just me or does anyone else goes through this?
I know its night but something just made me laugh at my self. For the past two days everytime I switch on the TV to watch a movie all I see is Fox Movies playing some Dracula movie and I sit watching it till I fall asleep and the flow of nightmares follow after that.
Just a few minutes back I realised they have been showing these movies because of Halloween. Well I hope I wont be having anymore nightmares tonight ...
I hate such people and the worse is when you see such people to come from people who are related to you. When they come and attack you for no good reason and try to spoil your relation with your friends.
Do the backstabbers think they will get 2 extra medals or do they lie thinking they will reach the highest mountain but no...excuse my french your place is under my feet!

A trip came up and I had to travel to Dubai. I stayed there for 12 hours and traveled on the Metro, argued with a taxi guy, visited GITEX exhibition, went to the launch of Windows 7, visited Mall of Emirates, Dinner and back and that was fun but now my bones are aching.
Three things I loved about this trip was their Metro which is very nice and reminds me of the London underground in some way, GITEX Technology exhibition and Windows 7 launch. I will leave you with the pictures for now...
I have always been asked by so many friends to advice them how can they save money once they receive their salary. I keep advising them and they keep failing simply because they cant get out of shopping or spending money on anything and everything or a simple answer I always receive and hear is I am Single and no responsibilities why shall I save?
Well first of all one needs to keep in mind whats the purpose behind his/her need of saving? You need to have an aim behind that saving and then work on it. Most of the times what happens is people save for a month or two and then give up and start spending again.
I was from the beginning advised by my Dad to save some money for any unexpected bad time. Even though el7emdella I knew that my parents are always there for me but my Dad's advices were really good and made me work on it. Below is a small example for how one could start saving...
You always start saving with an amount that you personally would consider as peanuts but don't be sad about that. Suppose you have decided that you want to save KD100. You open an account and deposit KD1 in it. You feel that this amount is very less and its not worth it and you are not happy about it but trust me as this will increase with the coming months you will be happy and want to save more.
So the first month you saved KD 10 Next month you added KD 10 to that saving. then KD 20 the month after.
This month you will feel happy as you have a total of KD40 in you account now. If you keep it up like this the more months pass the more you save till you reach your target. Just a few months before you reach the target you had in mind you will have a feeling that you want to increase the target amount and you will feel proud of the money you have saved till that date.
And remember from a personal experience I feel the more you save the more your expectations increases. Before you started saving you could maybe just think of buying a Toyota Yaris but few years on the line you will think I want a Land Cruiser and then who knows maybe a Bugatti :p Its funny but this is how it goes with me :D
Good Luck to everyone :) and thanks to eshda3wa on inspiring me to write this post...
I am riding fast on this roller coaster - falling .. then riding again - hurting other passengers and being hurt.. still not giving up - Because I am hopeful that this ride will run smoothly someday.... and waiting!
Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence, and William Kamkwamba has it in spades. At age fourteen, while many of us were sneaking out of classrooms, William was struggling to sneak into them—his family was unable to afford the $80 annual tuition. As is bound to happen to most students, he was caught. But instead of being sent to detention, he was barred from the school. In a show of the driven man he would become, he didn't allow that to hinder him and instead started spending his days in the local library.

The best gift I got after coming back from my beautiful vacation was to find out that my Hotmail account that I used for blogger has been hacked. I cant access it anymore. I have tried to access it several times with my password and it just doesn't seem to be working! For all the bloggers who send me emails from time to time or are on my msn messenger this is to inform you that I am not using my messenger any more as I don't have access to my account.
We just arrived Muscat few hours back and as we have a short lay over of 5 hours so decided to rest at the airport lounge which turned out to be pretty good except my neighbor is snoring. And because the rest rooms are like cabins its not a pleasant sound!!
Enjoy the pics till I rest before I catch my flight in the morning for Salalah...
