Traveling to Pakistan

I am traveling to Pakistan next week for business and pleasure. As much as I am excited about my trip I am really scared too with the recent bomb blasts and other issues there. The last time I went to Karachi was before 5 years for 1 day. This time I will be staying there for 6 days.

I agree about the mobile phone advice; out of sight unless absolute necessity arises.

Policemen are generally not to be trusted.

Power-cuts, especially lately are very common. However, I'm assuming you'd be staying at a hotel, so that shouldn't worry you.

Behold a very dug-up city and yet more lovely traffic hold-ups. Karachi certainly isn't what it was five years ago, but well...

E-mail me if you have leisure time to look around.

P.S:- Re: The bomb blasts.
You shall live.

=)

itroo7 o'terja3 bilsalama.

Don't eat crap off of street carts two days before your flight back. Unless you really enjoy the cabin's restrooms. (I'm just saying...)

Have fun, Karachi is GREAT.
