A gift of DEATH


I haven't ridden a motorcycle for the past 1 year. I love speed!!! But sadly after seeing few deadly accidents on the road I sell it after a few days. I know here in Kuwait motorcycle guys don't have a good reputation, but for me I ride it for my self for the fun of it. I am not into chasing girls or all those stunts but I like when I ride it on high speed and on the curves and when the roads are empty. So I have gifted myself with this gift again :D as I can see the cool breeze coming soon....and don't want to miss it!

So whats this machine all about.....Honestly I don't care as long as its the best in the market(safety and speed) and from my past experiences I have picked up Yamaha R1 - 1000cc and thats about it...wooohoooo.

I am not a technical person so I usually buy and sell it the way it is. I am not into the customization of these machines.....


But heyyyy don't go I still haven't gifted it to my self :) I am going to pay them KD3500 tomorrow. Just wanted to know what you guys think about the whole idea ?

Amu, it's very obvious that you are completely aware of the dangerous of having a bike, Title "gift of death", if you like to enjoy the weather what a bout a convertible car? I strongly advice you not to buy it, it's a little desire and it will pass, specially you know how roads and drivers here in Kuwait even if you were driving perfectly they can screw you up at any time, I hope you don't do it, and maybe we can think of some other gift for you, a gift of life ;)

Well, I'm definitly with oryx
From my experience with my husband.. Convertable cars with manual gears are amazing for me the side rider.. SO HOW DO YOU THINK THE RIDER HIMSELF FEELS?! ;)
Get a convertable.. safer & gives the same feeling.. I guess

b3dain, I like to stress I dont know fe hal sowalif but it doesn't look safe. I mean, if you like speed and what not kilshay leh emkaaneh like rings and what not.

I've realized wayed fe el kuwait el motorcycle trend is hot! 3na n7na NO =P You hardly see them on the road for some weird reason. OH perhaps it is the humidity amu hates =P...

If you already bought it, allah ya36eek 5airha ow yakfeek sharha!! AMEEN!

Frankly Yamaha is not my piece of engine! But my husband likes it a lot! It’s full of the R1’s here in Cyprus! I do think it looks great! But man it’s not even 1000cc! It’s about 900 something! Well that is not really the point!

I know what you mean by just the speed and open road and wind! I love that! I can’t stop riving my old car so fast with windows open so I could get that feeling! But it’s not the same! I will be buying a bike by the end of this year if not then before next summer! I have my motorbike driving test set in November so hopefully I’ll be ready and fully geared by then! We own Honda X4 but it’s too heavy for me! So now I have to buy something at least for the test! Wish you the best of riding! ;)

Ps; I was in a deadly accident on the gulf road in Kuwait in 1998! But that still didn’t drive me away from bikes! :P

Nora: thanks for visiting :) Well I love yamaha too, even though in kuwait Honda has more value but yamaha has its looks..Sorry to hear about your accident, how did that happen? *touch wood I am still safe till today* :)

nora: Thats a really bad accident..its good you are alive...I often see people not surviving such accidents... I was planning to buy Aprilla in 2003 when it just arrived kuwait but the dealership sucks here so I prefer to stick with Honda or Yamaha...I sometimes feel I should get my self a goldwing and ride all the way to europe :)
