Day 1 - London @ EasyHotel

My flight arrived 30 minutes early at Heathrow Terminal 5. I would say this is the best terminal of all their other terminals. The immigration office was right next to the gate and in 5 minutes I was at the baggage claim. It took around 30 minutes till my bag arrived. I took Heathrow Express direct for London Padington and was there 30 minutes later.



I read about easyHotel on Mark's blog a while back and as I like adventure I decided to book on it. I had in my mind as the hotel is really cheap in room cost it wont be a nice and clean one and if it doesn't meets my expectations I had a second plan that I will move to Hilton Padington. But I was wrong the hotel is beyond my expectation for its price. It extremely clean and 2 minutes walk from the station. I have a double bed single room with a window. Nice and friendly staff and they have all the information available if you would like to do some site seeing. The only annoying part in this hotel is that any extra service costs money like room cleaning is £10, fresh towels £1, checkout after 10am £15, £5 to watch TV for 24 hours and many others. I really don't mind for the price I payed to stay in this hotel but it would be good if they had different packages available at the time of booking. I just got a one week internet connection for £20.




I went to watch Seven Pounds last night. The movie is a good time pass but it feels different to watch an uncensored movie after a while. I was really tired after watching the movie and came back to the hotel and slept.
